December 12, 2007 I'm now a World in Conflict map maker. I enjoy making the maps just as much as I enjoy playing them. You'll find my entry to WIC heaven's Christmas-themed map by clicking on the link to the left. Tug of War in Korea!!!
WIC MAP: Tug of War "tw_Korea1" available in left menu.
September 12, 2007 Since I've figured out how to make "base" respawns and how to update them during a mission, I've built two missions using this feature. Previous missions I made in ArmA and OFP only used the "team" respawn option which limited the number of revives to the number of guys in the team. With this new option, respawns are unlimited, so I can make longer missions with more objectives. I can make them a bit tougher without making them too frustrating as well, something my fellow warriors apreciate! Anyway, one of these missions involves eliminating a group of RACS soldiers who have joined the comunist forces of the SLA, and the other, is a classic Marines beach landing mission where we progress up a hill from the beach where we land at the beginning of the mission. I have also completed several missions during the last month using my good ol' team based respawns.
August 16, 2007 One of the missions I've worked on for the weekend requires us to eliminate some fuel trucks and a fuel barrel reserve. I figured a few pictures would help to know what we must look for. Also, missions 2 and 3 in my Stryker One series are complete. The fuel demolition mission mentioned above could also be considered as part of the Stryker "campaign". Anyway, here are the pictures I was talking about:

Here's a cool movie I found online. It seems to show a mix of Arma and OFP footage. Nice lil' movie!

I've got two new missions that I've made in ArmA. The first one is a behind enemy lines ambush mission and the second one is an urban fighting mission in Tiberia. I have made a briefing page and a description file for both. The only thing left to do is test them in multiplayer.
